Pilot Ufot Residency
The Huntington’s Education Department is thrilled to be piloting the Ufot Residency at Avon Middle-High School this fall! This new residency is an exploration and celebration of Mfoniso Udofia’s Ufot Family Cycle, where students are invited to dig deeper into the Cycle’s characters and dramaturgical themes. Taught by Huntington Resident Teaching Artist Jalyse Ware (Ms Ey Yo Miss in Kufre n’ Quay), the residency will culminate in student performances of monologue from the nine-play cycle. Select students will be invited to perform at the Ufot Family Cycle Celebration on December 13, 2026.
