The Huntington Theatre is home to one of the best field trip opportunities in the Greater Boston Area! Supplement your classroom learning and give your students the exciting opportunity to attend a professional theatre production with our Student Matinee Series. Participation includes an optional in class preshow workshop taught by one of our professional teaching artists, access to our unique curriculum guide, and a post-show discussion. Book your school group today — student matinees fill up quickly!

Booking Details

  • For more information about pricing and our benefits package, email: education@huntingtontheatre.org
  • Schools are required to provide one chaperone for every 15 students
  • Final count and payment for all school groups is due no less than 2 weeks before the performance.
  • The Huntington does not offer refunds for any absent students or unused tickets.

Student Matinee Benefits Package

What’s included with your Student Matinee reservation:

  • Tickets for you and one guest to attend a preview performance of the play. See the play before your students do! 
  • Our digital Curriculum Guide for use in the classroom.
  • A pre-show workshop at your school led by a member of The Huntington’s Education Department.
