Curated by Artistic Director Loretta Greco, this trip offers an insider’s view of London’s vibrant theatre scene. Travelers will experience an exceptional lineup of productions along with ample opportunity to meet artists, theatre-makers, and tastemakers behind the scenes.

The itinerary each year is filled with deliciously good theatre, to borrow one of Loretta’s favorite phrases. Productions are selected with an eye toward the most exciting and not-to-be-missed work on London stages, creating a mix of popular productions, time-tested classics, and thrilling new shows.
Recent trips have included Sondheim’s Into the Woods, Bryan Cranston starring in All My Sons, and the invigorating tale of Kenrex.

Before every performance, the group gathers for dinner at a carefully selected London restaurant to enjoy a wonderful meal, connect with fellow travelers, and build anticipation for the evening ahead.
Over the years, these meals have become some of the most memorable parts of the trip, with favorite restaurants and traditions becoming part of the Huntington London experience. Expect exceptional food, lively conversation, and wonderful company throughout the week.
Our group stays at the Corinthia London, a luxurious five-star hotel just steps from Trafalgar Square and overlooking the Thames. With an exceptional location, elegant accommodations, and access to the renowned ESPA Life spa, the Corinthia provides a wonderful home base for our week in London.
Breakfast at the Corinthia is an experience in itself, with a beautiful buffet and menu to order from – including a Full English Breakfast. This celebrated meal is built into the cost of your room, giving travelers the opportunity to start each day with an exceptional meal before heading out to explore London.

- Do I need to be a donor to attend? No! Anyone with a passion for theatre is welcome to attend; we love meeting new people.
- How big is the group? The average size of our group each year is in the mid-twenties.
- What is included in the price of the trip? Everything but the airfare! Once you’ve committed to the trip, we send confirmed attendees a recommended flight for the journey over and the return. Should you elect to take this recommended flight, transportation to and from Heathrow is provided.
- Your hotel room, a gourmet breakfast, a multi course dinner with beverages, transportation to and from the theatre, show tickets, artist fees for talkbacks and behind-the-scenes experiences are all included in the cost of the trip. Depending on the year, we also offer daytime excursions you can opt in to for an additional fee (i.e. a private tour with a curator of a specific exhibit relevant to The Huntington season at The Tate Modern).
- When can I commit? A save the date is usually sent out over the summer and a formal invitation is emailed during the fall. - Is there time to explore London on my own? Yes! We intentionally leave a few mornings and afternoons unstructured. If there is an exhibit, tour, or other attraction you’d like to do without the group you will have the opportunity to do so.
The Huntington Experience
The London Trip is about much more than what happens onstage. It’s an opportunity to experience London through The Huntington’s lens.
For many travelers, one of the most rewarding parts of the trip is the opportunity to spend time with Loretta Greco and Chris Mannelli outside the usual context of a performance or formal Huntington event. Conversations over dinner, drinks, and between performances offer a rare chance to get to know the individuals leading Boston’s flagship theatre company—and to share your own thoughts, ideas, and enthusiasm with them.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Huntington supporters who share a passion for theatre, travel, food, and the artists who make it all possible. The friendships, inside jokes, favorite memories, and sense of community that emerge are part of what makes this trip so special.
