Opening Our Doors Day 2024

Join us for THE HUNTINGTON’S ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE

Monday, October 14 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day) 11am – 2pm

All are welcome to the gorgeously renovated Huntington Theatre for a free, community open house on Monday, Oct 14 as part of the Fenway Alliance’s Opening Our Doors Day. Take a behind the scenes tour (with a peek into dressing rooms and the costume shop!), try on hats and costume pieces in our costume corner, make your own art at our coloring station, and get in on the act at a free Huntington Academy theatre games workshop.

SCHEDULE:

Open House from 11am – 2pm:

11am – 2pm

Guided Tours: backstage tours led by Huntington staff, starting from the 1st floor theatre lobby (tour is approx. 30 minutes)

Costume Corner: try on and be inspired by our beautiful and whimsical hats and costume pieces

Coloring Station: show off your artistic flair by making your own art or drawing on our coloring pages

11:30am – 12:15pm 

Huntington Academy Family Workshop: Join Huntington Education staff members for an introduction to theatre games and exercises – fun for all ages!
