Melynda Davis is a versatile singer who has performed with leading opera companies and orchestras throughout New England and New York. Opera: Guillaume Tell, The Daughter of the Regiment (Boston Lyric Opera); Vanessa (Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Lyric Opera); Mask in the Mirror (Trilogy: An Opera Company); La Bohème; Suor Angelica (Greater Worcester Opera); Carmen (Brockton Symphony Orchestra with Opera del West); Le Nozze di Figaro (New York Lyric Opera Theater); Pagliacci (The Opera Company of Brooklyn); Otello (Lowell House Opera); Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, MassOpera. Awards: First Place in the NATS Competition Division 5; Second Place in the Leontyne Price Vocal Competition. Also, Board President of Boston Singers’ Resource and Opera Untapped and remains active as a performer, educator, cantor, and arts advocate.
