Jecenia Figueroa
Jecenia Figueroa is a Puerto Rican playwright, poet, and author born in Boston, MA. Since 2014, she has had her works, Dirty Laundry and Marriage, Mentiras & Mantras, staged with Escena Latina Teatro, TC Squared Theatre Company, and Boston Podcast Players.
Jecenia Figueroa is a Puerto Rican playwright, poet, and author born in Boston, MA. Since 2014, she has had her works, Dirty Laundry and Marriage, Mentiras & Mantras, staged with Escena Latina Teatro, TC Squared Theatre Company, and Boston Podcast Players. In 2015, she debuted a bilingual collection of poetry entitled, La Tertulia Inicial. She has also been a member of the Company One Theatre family since 2016. Jecenia has been published in Boston Poetry Magazine, as a co-author for 20 Beautiful Women: Volume 3, and as a contributor for the anthology, Basta: 100+ Latinas against Gender Violence.
