Fred Lassen
Fred Lassen is a seasoned Broadway conductor, music director, and arranger. He has served as music director for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular for the past two seasons, and was the music supervisor for the original Broadway production of Once, and both the Once and Finding Neverland national tours.
Fred Lassen is a seasoned Broadway conductor, music director, and arranger. He has served as music director for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular for the past two seasons, and was the music supervisor for the original Broadway production of Once, and both the Once and Finding Neverland national tours. His Broadway conducting credits include Prince of Broadway, Bandstand, Finding Neverland, Porgy and Bess, South Pacific and others, and Off Broadway/regional credits include Atlantic Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Alliance Theatre, and Pasadena Playhouse. He was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Music Direction for Ricky Ian Gordon’s musical Sycamore Trees. He has a degree in organ performance from Oberlin Conservatory, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife Vaishali and son Luca.
