Brenda Withers
Brenda Withers is a Huntington Playwriting Fellow and founding member of the Harbor Stage Company on Cape Cod. Her plays include The Kritik, Jordan, Northside Hollow (w/Jonathan Fielding), and String Around my Finger.
Brenda Withers is a Huntington Playwriting Fellow and founding member of the Harbor Stage Company on Cape Cod. Her plays include The Kritik, Jordan, Northside Hollow (w/Jonathan Fielding), and String Around my Finger. Her work has been produced at places like Northern Stage, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Portland Stage, Amphibian Stage, and Urbanite Theatre and has been awarded the Clauder Prize and an Edgerton Award. Performance credits include Actors Theatre of Louisville, McCarter Theatre, ART, the Folger, and Hartford Stage. Ms. Withers has enjoyed playwriting residencies with New Georges and the Camargo Foundation, is a proud member of The Pool, and studied drama and religion at Dartmouth College.
