Bec Ray Lowe (they/he) is excited to join the Education Department after almost a year in The Huntington’s box office. They graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Spring 2020 with a BFA in dramatic writing and a minor in music composition. Most of their theatre career since has been spent as a “jack of all trades” in children’s theatre – from directing to acting to costume design to being an emotional support person and beyond. From high school, their passion has been to inspire the younger generations to find where they belong in the theatre world; whether that be onstage, backstage, in an office, or in the audience. They are a proud advocate for trans and queer representation both onstage and behind the scenes, as well as working to make theatre more accessible for anyone who needs accommodations. Outside of the theatre, they’re an avid reader and love to spend time with their rescue dog Anya.
