American Masters' "August Wilson: The Ground on Which I Stand" Special Screening

Join us for a special screening of American Masters' "August Wilson: The Ground on Which I Stand" before it airs on WGBH 2. With a special guest from WGBH and Huntington Managing Director Michael Maso, as well as a performance by the 2015 Boston regional winner of the August Wilson Monologue Competition.

August Wilson was an award-winning American playwright whose work illuminated the joys and struggles of the African-American experience in the U.S. during the 20th century. The Huntington is proud to have been an artistic home for Wilson and has produced all ten of the plays in his Century Cycle.

This event is FREE and open to the public.  Doors will open at 7pm.
