Kate Snodgrass

Kate Snodgrass is a Huntington Playwriting Fellow. She is the artistic director of Boston Playwrights’ Theatre and of the Boston Theater Marathon, which she also co-founded. She is a professor of playwriting at Boston University. Playwriting credits include the widely translated and anthologized Haiku (Actors’ Theatre of Louisville, Heideman Award), Boston Playwrights’ Theatre’s The Glider (IRNE Award for Best New Play, ATCA/Steinberg New Play Award nomination), and Observatory (IRNE Award for Best New Play). Ms. Snodgrass was StageSource’s 2001 Theatre Hero and the recipient of the 2012 Elliot Norton Award for Sustained Excellence.
