“Graceful, gripping, and break-your-heart beautiful. Betsy Wolfe and Adam Kantor are simply irresistible.”— Daily News
"A stunning score! Brown may have won a Best Original Score Tony Award for 1998’s Parade, but this is far and away his finest work."— Entertainment Weekly
Jason Robert Brown’s contemporary musical tells the emotionally powerful story of two 20-something New Yorkers who dive head first into a marriage fueled by the optimism that comes with finding “the one.” But in a city where professional and personal passions collide and only the strongest relationships survive, navigating the waters of love and matrimony can sometimes prove too much. Funny, honest, and intimate, with an exuberantly romantic score, The Last Five Years takes a bold look at one young couple's hope that love endures the test of time. Adam Kantor (Next to Normal) and Betsy Wolfe (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) reprise their roles in this concert version of Second Stage Theatre’s acclaimed production.
Approximate Run Time: 90 minutes with no intermission.
