Christopher Akerlind previously designed lighting for Indecent (2019), Tartuffe (2017), Sunday in the Park with George (2016), All My Sons (2010), Shining City (2008), Well(2007), Seven Guitars (1995), The Young Man from Atlanta (1995) and The Piano Lesson (1988) at the Huntington. Broadway credits include Time and the Conways and Indecent (Tony Award and Drama Desk Awards); Rocky (Tony Award nomination); The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess (Tony Award nomination); Superior Donuts and 110 in the Shade (Tony Award nomination); Talk Radio, Shining City and Awake and Sing! (Tony Award nomination); Well, Rabbit Hole, A Touch of the Poet, In My Life, and The Light in the Piazza (Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Awards); Reckless and Seven Guitars (Tony Award nomination); and The Piano Lesson, among others. Mr. Akerlind holds a BFA from Boston University and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama.
