Let's talk about The Colored Museum

by:  Vanessa Martinez at 03/23/2015

Sunday, March 22, we had our Humanities Forum and Globe Insiders event which included a post-show talk back with Boston Globe Columnist, Adrian Walker and professor of African and African-American studies and English at Harvard University, Glenda R. Carpio. Our featured speaker Glenda R. Carpio has taught The Colored Museum in previous classes and she talked about how the play resonates with her students and how it strikes a chord particularly with her students of color. She took the time to answer questions on how stereotypes are illustrated on stage and how different audiences interpret certain exhibits.

Some audience questions were not included in the final recording.  You will still hear panelists' responses to those questions.
