Sean Daniels

Sean Daniels previously directed the Huntington's production of Home of the Brave (2014) as part of the Breaking Ground Festival of new plays. Mr. Daniels has directed at The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), St. James Theatre (London), Actors Theatre of Louisville, Geva Theatre Center, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Cleveland Play House, Alliance Theatre, California Shakespeare Theater, Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, Swine Palace, The Neo-Futurists, Aurora Theatre, Crowded Fire Theater, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. He currently serves as the artist-at- large for Geva Theatre Center. He previously spent four years at the Tony Award-winning Actors Theatre of Louisville as the theatre’s associate artistic director, and he directed 17 productions including five at the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Mr. Daniels is the former associate artistic director/resident director of the California Shakespeare Theater and before that spent a decade as the artistic director and co-founder of Dad’s Garage Theatre Company in Atlanta. His upcoming projects include The Lion at Manhattan Theatre Club.
