Russell H. Champa

Russell H. Champa previously designed lighting for A Guide for the Homesick (2017), Now or Later (2012), and Captors (2011) at the Huntington. Current and recent projects include About Alice (Theater for a New Audience); Log Cabin (Playwrights Horizons); Transfers (MCC Theater); Everest (Kansas City Opera); and Thresh|Hold (Pilobolus). Broadway credits include China Doll (Gerald Schoenfeld Theater); In the Next Room, or the vibrator play (Lyceum Theatre/Lincoln Center Theater); and Julia Sweeney’s God Said, “Ha!” (Lyceum Theatre). New York work includes Lincoln Center Theater, The Public Theater, Second Stage Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Stage and Film, and The Julliard School. Regional work includes Steppenwolf Theater, American Conservatory Theater, The Wilma Theater, Trinity Repertory Company, California Shakespeare Theater, Mark Taper Forum, and The Kennedy Center.
