Russell G. Jones

Russell G. Jones previously appeared in the Huntington's production of The Power of Duff (2013). Mr. Jones has Off Broadway credits that include The Call (Playwrights Horizons), Marie and Bruce (The New Group), Ruined (Manhattan Theatre Company), A View from 151st Street (Labyrinth Theater Company/The Public Theater), Our Lady of 121st Street and In Arabia We’d All Be Kings (Labyrinth Theater Company), God, The Crackhouse & The Devil (La Mama ETC), When the Lights Went Out and The Power of Duff (New York Stage and Film and Vassar’s Powerhouse Theater), The Whipping Man (Cleveland Play House), and Ruined (Geffen Playhouse, Intiman Theatre, and Goodman Theatre). His film and television credits include PINCH, Mania Days, Side Effects, Arena Lights, Knuckleheads, Palladium, Traffic, Squeeze, The Saint of Avenue B, Companions, Turntable, “Do No Harm,” “Elementary,” “Smash,” “Law & Order: SVU, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Law & Order: Trial By Jury,” and “Spin City.” Mr. Jones is the recipient of an Obie, Audelco, Black Theater Alliance, SAG, and NAACP Theatre Awards. He attended Boston University’s School of Fine Arts and has been an education facilitator at the Labyrinth Theater Company since 2002.
