Roxanna Myhrum

Roxanna Myhrum designed puppets for the Huntington's production of Ryan Landry's "M" (2013). Ms. Myhrum is the artistic director of Puppet Showplace Theatre in Brookline, Massachusetts. Her regional puppetry coaching and directing credits include Avenue Q (Lyric Stage Company, IRNE Award nomination), Carnival (Gloucester Stage Company, IRNE Award nomination), afterlife: a ghost story (New Repertory Theatre), and this season’s She Kills Monsters (Company One) and Pippi Longstocking (Wheelock Family Theatre). She has taught or directed puppetry productions at Harvard University, Brown University, Suffolk University, Boston University, Boston College, and Worcester State University. Ms. Myhrum was a resident company member at the Eugene O’Neill National Puppetry Conference where she collaborated on the development of numerous projects including the national touring production of The Little Prince. When not working with puppets, she is a freelance stage director of opera and theatre.
