Richard McElvain

Richard McElvain previously appeared in the Huntington's productions of The Luck of the Irish (2012), To Kill a Mockingbird (1996), Bang the Drum Slowly (1994), and The Lady from Maxim’s (1990). Other Boston credits include Galileo (Underground Railway Theater) and Angels in America Parts I and II (Boston Theatre Works’). He created his own adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone in which he also played Creon, and he directed an acclaimed production of A Moon for the Misbegotten, both at The Nora Theatre Company. Mr. McElvain’s film and television credits include Mermaids, What’s the Worst That Could Happen, Mr. North, and “Spenser: For Hire.” He won an Elliot Norton award for his performance in Saint Nicholas (Súgán Theatre Company). Along with his colleagues, Mr. McElvain has created an award winning theatre program.
