Portia Krieger

Portia Krieger previously directed for the Huntington's Tania in the Getaway Van (2014) as part of the Breaking Ground festival of new plays and Emerging America Festival. She mostly directs new plays. Recent credits Eager to Lose (Ars Nova), Baby Screams Miracle (Clubbed Thumb), Tigers Be Still (TheaterSquared), Too Much Too Soon (Lesser America), and Samuel D. Hunter's When You're Here (Williamstown Theatre Festival), along with workshops and readings at the Roundabout Underground, Second Stage Theatre, New York Stage & Film, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Page 73 Productions, and others. Ms. Krieger is an alumna of the Drama League Directors Project and the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, a former Ars Nova director-in-residence, and a co-founder of the New Georges Jam. Her upcoming projects include Caroline V. McGraw's The Vaults for New Georges.
