Phillip James Brannon previously appeared in the Huntington's production of A Confederacy of Dunces (2015) as Burma JonesHe has Off Broadway credits that include ToasT (The Public Theater); BootyCandy (Playwrights Horizons); The City of Conversation (Lincoln Center Theater); Love and Information and Belleville (New York Theatre Workshop); and We Are Proud to Present… (SoHo Repertory Theatre). His regional credits include BootyCandy (Wilma Theater and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company); The March and The Brother/Sister Plays (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Immediately Family, Joan Dark, The Ballad of Emmett Till, The Cook, Oedipus Complex, and A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); As You Like It, Richard III, Macbeth, and Amadeus (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Titus Andronicus (Court Theatre); Harriet Jacobs (Kansas City Repertory Theatre); and Elmina’s Kitchen (Congo Square Theatre). His film and television credits include Contagion and “Law & Order: SVU.” Mr. Brannon holds a BFA in acting from The Theatre School of DePaul University in Chicago.
