Mike Durst

Mike Durst was the lighting designer for Come Back, Little Sheba (2015) at the Huntington. has Off Broadway credits that include Extinction (Cherry Lane Theatre), Secrets of the Trade (Primary Stages), and The Opponent (A Red Orchid Theatre). He has done national tours for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” The Nightman Cometh, and Buyer & Cellar (Associate Designer). Recent Chicago designs include Mr. Burns (Theater Wit), Our Class and Both Your Houses (Remy Bumppo Theatre Company), Still Alice and The Great Fire (Lookingglass Theatre), and The Opponent, Mud Blue Sky, and Simpatico (A Red Orchid Theatre). Mr. Durst also serves as a lighting consultant for theatrical renovations including the Gray Center at University of Chicago and Circle Theater in Los Angeles. He has received Chicago’s Jeff Award (Equity Wing), Los Angeles’s Ovation Award, and San Diego’s Craig Noel Award.
