Larry Yando

Larry Yando returns to the Huntington having previously appeared in Candide (2011) (Shakespeare Theatre Company and Goodman Theatre). Regional credits include A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre), The Two Noble Kinsmen, Cymbeline, The Tempest, Timon of Athens, All's Well That Ends Well, King Lear, Henry IV Parts I and II, and Antony and Cleopartra (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, Travesties, An Ideal Husband, Ghost, Electra, Measure for Measure, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Travels with My Aunt (Court Theatre), Mother Courage and Her Children and Fake (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), and productions at the Writers' Theatre, Royal George Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and Madison Repertory Theatre. Mr. Yando appeared in the national tour of The Lion King as Scar. Awards include Chicago's Best Actor (Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and Chicago Reader), Excellence in the Arts (Theatre School at DePaul), and a 2010 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship.
