Keona Welch

Keona Welch has New York and Off Broadway credits that include Moony’s Kid Don’t Cry (Drama League DirectorFest 2012, dir. Christopher Windom), Blacken the Bubble (Liberation Theatre Company), The Flower Thief (The Fire This Time Festival), Goodness (Project Y Theatre Company), the New York premiere of Court-Martial at Fort Devens (Castillo Theatre, 2012 AUDELCO Award), We in Silence Hear a Whisper (Red Fern Theatre Company), Colored People’s Time and Savanna Black & Blue (The Negro Ensemble Company, dir. Charles Weldon), and The Ritual (New Perspectives Theatre Company), among others. She performed internationally in A Winter’s Tale (The Globe Theatre, dir. Mike Alfreds). She has appeared in Ruined (Philadelphia Theatre Company) and will be co-starring with Jeff McCarthy in the world premiere of Kunstler (dir. Annette O'Toole). Her film and television credits include End of Hope, The Riot, Candy, The Audition, “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU,” and “Chapelle's Show.” She is a graduate of the Rutgers University BFA acting program.
