Driscoll Otto

Driscoll Otto previously designed lights for The Purists (2019), Topdog/Underdog (2017) and The Colored Museum (2015) at the Huntington. Off Broadway credits include Less than 50%Under My Skin, Solving the Riddle, and The Importance of being Earnest. Other New York credits include La Donna del Lago (The Metropolitan Opera), Baden Baden 1927 (Gotham Chamber Opera), and work with Ars Nova, Mint Theater Company, The Ohio Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, La MaMa, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Gotham Chamber Opera. Mr. Otto’s work is seen frequently in regional opera and theatre. His credits with regional companies include Santa Fe Opera, Pioneer Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Syracuse Stage, North Carolina Opera, Opera Delaware, Opera Omaha, Virginia Opera, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Utah Opera, Chicago Opera Theatre, Arizona Opera, Houston Shakespeare Festival, Trinity Repertory Company, Hangar Theatre, Flat Rock Playhouse, and Utah Festival Opera. He has also designed productions of Legally Blonde and Rock of Ages for Norwegian Cruise Lines and Blast: The Music of Disney in Japan. Next up he is designing Noura at The Old Globe and an adaption of Carmen in Hong Kong. Mr. Otto received his MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
