Betsy Wolfe

Betsy Wolfe previously appeared in The Last Five Years (2013) in concert at the Huntington. She will be seen on Broadway as Ellen in the upcoming Woody Allen musical Bullets Over Broadway, directed by Susan Stroman.  Her other Broadway credits include Everyday Rapture (also performed Off Broadway), 110 in the Shade, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This past season, Ms. Wolfe appeared as Miss Deirdre Peregrine/Rosa Bud in the Broadway revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Roundabout Theatre Company) and Cathy in the Off Broadway revival of The Last Five Years (Second Stage Theatre). Her regional credits include Beth in Merrily We Roll Along (Encores!), Mary Ann Singleton in the world premiere of Tales of the City (American Conservatory Theater, originally workshopped at the 2009 Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Musical Theater Conference), The Who’s Tommy (Dallas Theater Center), and Ragtime (Paper Mill Playhouse). Ms. Wolfe also starred in the San Francisco and Boston companies of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She has been a guest artist for over 25 Symphony, Pops, and Philharmonic Orchestras across the United States and internationally. At 23, she made her concert debut at Carnegie Hall as a headliner with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra under Maestro Erich Kunzel. Ms. Wolfe also performed as a guest soloist for the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center and the London Coliseum. She also can be heard on the Merrily We Roll Along, 35mm, 110 in the Shade, Everyday Rapture, and Stage Door Canteen recordings.
