Annie Purcell

Annie Purcell previously appeared in Awake and Sing! (2014) at the Huntington. She most recently appeared in the American premiere of Russian playwright Ivan Viripaev’s Illusions at Baryshnikov Arts Center. Her Broadway credits include The Coast of Utopia: Voyage, Shipwreck, and Salvage (Lincoln Center Theater), Dividing the Estate, and Awake and Sing! Her Off Broadway credits include Twelfth Night (Fiasco Theater), Cycling Past the Matterhorn (Theater Row), and What May Fall (Fordham Alumni Theatre Company). Regionally, she had performed in Partners (Humana Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville); The Real Thing (Studio Theatre); Ed, Downloaded (Denver Center Theater Company); Scorched, A Christmas Carol, and Endgame/Play (American Conservatory Theatre); The Tosca Café (Theatre Calgary and Vancouver Playhouse); and In the Next Room (The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis); among others. She has also appeared in film in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and on television in “Louie” and “The Black Donnellys.” Ms. Purcell received her BA from Fordham University at Lincoln Center and her MFA from New York University.
