Alma Cuervo

Alma Cuervo appeared in Yerma (2019) and The Miracle at Naples (2009) at the Huntington. Broadway credits include On Your Feet, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Titanic, The Heidi Chronicles, Ghetto, Quilters, Is There Life After High School?, Censored Scenes from King Kong, and Bedroom Farce. National touring credits include On Your Feet, Wicked, My Fair Lady, Cabaret, and M. Butterfly. Recent Off Broadway credits include Sondheim and Weidman’s Road Show (New York Shakespeare Festival); Allegro (Classic Stage Company); and Far From Heaven (Playwrights’ Horizons). Regional theatre credits include You Can’t Take It With You and Theresa Rebeck’s Fool (Alley Theatre); Into The Woods (Baltimore Center Stage and Westport Country Playhouse); The Curtain Rises (Signature Theatre), and The Clean House (Syracuse Stage). Ms. Cuervo received an Obie Award for her performance in Uncommon Women and Others and a Barrymore Award for The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Philadelphia Theatre Company). Television credits include the miniseries “The Slap” and Norman Lear’s “A.K.A. Pablo.” Ms. Cuervo is a graduate of Tulane University and Yale School of Drama.
