Meryl Lind Shaw

Meryl Lind Shaw has cast roles for the Huntington Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, San Francisco Symphony and Opera, and the San Francisco productions of White Christmas, Jitney, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile, as well as the first workshop of The Count of Monte Cristo and the CD-ROM game Obsidian. Before joining American Conservatory Theater as casting director, she stage-managed more than 60 productions in theatres throughout the Bay Area, including A.C.T.’s Creditors and Bon Appétit! She was resident stage manager at Berkeley Repertory Theatre for twelve years and production stage manager at the Berkeley Shakespeare Festival for three seasons. She has served on the Bay Area advisory committee of Actors’ Equity Association, the negotiating committee for the LORT contract (1992 and 1993), and the board of trustees of the California Shakespeare Festival.
