Ed Hoopman

Ed Hoopman previously appeared in The Luck of the Irish (2012) and A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration (2009) at the Huntington. He has been seen as Dolan in Mister Roberts at New Repertory Theatre. Other regional appearances include Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest (The Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Leon Czolgosz in Assassins, Alden in After Ashley, and Dim in A Clockwork Orange (Company One); Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Nicholas in Taming of the Shrew (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company); the title role in Hamlet (New Rep On Tour); Eddie in Shear Madness (Charles Playhouse); Michael in Dancing at Lughnasa (Way Theatre Artists); Prologue in The Flu Season (Whistler In The Dark Theatre); and the Storyteller for the world premiere of composer Duncan Neilson’s multimedia work Feirefiz, performed by the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
