David L. Harris

David L. Harris is a trombonist, vocalist, composer, and arranger, and played the trumbone at the Huntington in A Confederacy of Dunces (2015). He has toured internationally, playing in noteworthy concert halls and festivals such as the Apollo Theater; Rose Hall in Lincoln Center; The L’Olympia Music Hall in Paris, France; The Newport Jazz Festival (2015); Cape Town Jazz Festival; Montreal Jazz Festival; The Joy of Jazz Festival; North Sea Jazz Festival; Ascona Jazz Festival; and The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He also has performed with such notable acts as the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Shannon Powell, Gerald French and the Original Tuxedo Jazz Band, Aaron Neville, Delfeayo Marsalis, Haley Reinhart, Dr. Michael White, Wynton Marsalis, and currently with Dee Dee Bridgewater and The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Mr. Harris is composing and arranging songs for his upcoming CD.
