
Mary Louise Wilson* (Mrs. Malaprop) appeared with the Huntington in 1986 in
The Birthday Party. Recently on Broadway she played Mrs. Morehouse in
The Women. As Fraulien Schneider in
Cabaret, she was nominated for a Tony Award. Her other Broadway credits include
Showboat, Prelude to a Kiss, Alice in Wonderland, The Royal Family, and
Gypsy. Off Broadway, she won Obie and Drama Desk Awards as Diana Vreeland in
Full Gallop, directed by Nicholas Martin, and a Drama Desk nomination as Hennie in
Bosoms and Neglect, also directed by Nicholas Martin. Last winter she was nominated again for a Drama Desk for her role as Elizabeth I in
The Beard of Avon. Her films include

The Money Pit,
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and
Klute. Her recent television credits include "Cosby," "Hallmark Hall of Fame," "Frasier," and "The Sopranos." Ms. Wilson has had articles published in
