Dennis Parichy (Lighting Designer) previously designed As You Like It for the Huntington and has designed over four hundred productions during his career. Broadway productions include Talley's Folly, Burn This, Penn & Teller, and Crimes of the Heart. He was resident lighting designer for Circle Repertory Company and now designs for many regional theaters, including Pittsburgh Public Theater, Guthrie Theater, Mark Taper Forum, and Arizona Theatre Company. He frequently designs for the People's Light & Theatre Company, where he is an Affiliated Artist. Recent credits include The Arabian Nights for the Arden Theatre Company, Broadway for the Pittsburgh Public Theater, Talley's Folly for the Arizona Theatre Company, and Lucia di Lammermoor for Portland Opera. He designed five American premieres of Athol Fugard's plays, directed by Mr. Fugard. Mr. Parichy has received Obie, Drama Desk, and DramaLogue awards for his designs, and teaches lighting design at Purchase College.
