RAYNOR SCHEINE (Rutherford Selig) is a veteran of over 100 stage productions and his favorite is the original production of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, where he first played the role of Rutherford Selig in seven cities (including in Boston for the Huntington Theatre Company) for over 300 performances, including over 100 on Broadway. His over 40 feature film roles include the recently completed Terrence Malick film The New World with Christopher Plummer, and Transamerica with Felicity Huffman. Other favorites are The Rookie with Dennis Quaid, Fried Green Tomatoes, My Cousin Vinny, Funny Farm, The Quick and the Dead, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Nothing Lasts Forever with Sam Jaffe. Recent television appearances include “ER,” “Deadwood,” and “Law and Order.”
