
KATHRYN BOSTIC (Composer) has composed music for numerous plays, films, and concerts. She is also a recipient of the Sundance Fellowship for Filmscoring and has recently collaborated with award winning documentary filmmaker Stanley Nelson. Some of her theatre credits include
Death and the King's Horseman, The Beggars Strike, The Only Jealousy of Emer, Harlem, and
Pee Wee and the Wheelman. Theatres include The Mark Taper Forum, Syracuse Stage, The Public Theater, London Royal Court, The Children's Theater Company, The Kennedy Center, and Baltimore’s Center Stage. As a vocalist and pianist Ms. Bostic has performed in various clubs and festivals including London's Ronnie Scotts, The Blue Note (Tokyo and Osaka), The Pori Jazz Festival, The Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Cape May Jazz Festival, and Birdland – JVC Jazz Festival New York. She has also toured and/or recorded with numerous artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, k.d. lang, John Hiatt, The Manhattans, Rod Stewart, and David Byrne.
