T:
Green Line to Hynes/ICA station. Turn left out of the station and continue down Mass. Ave. for 6 blocks. Turn right on Huntington Ave. The B.U. Theatre is on the left.

Green Line to Symphony station. Walk outbound down Huntington Ave. and the B.U. Theatre is on the left.

Orange Line to Mass. Ave. station. Turn left out of the station and continue down Mass. Ave. for 2 blocks. Turn left on Huntington Ave. The B.U. Theatre is on the left.

Bus:
No. 1 Harvard-Dudley bus via Massachusetts Avenue to Huntington Avenue
No. 39 Arborway — Copley bus to Gainsborough Street.

Driving Directions

From the West: Mass. Pike to the Prudential exit. Proceed straight down Huntington Ave. The theatre is on the left.

From the South: I-93 to the Mass. Ave. exit. Right onto Mass. Ave. north. Left at the seventh light onto St. Botolph St. (You will be directly behind the theatre.)

From the North: Storrow Drive to the Fenway exit. Boylston St. (inbound) to Westland Ave. Right onto Mass. Ave. for one block (past Symphony Hall). Right onto Huntington Ave. The theatre is on the left.


Garage Parking

Please remember to arrive early for performances, as the Huntington shares local parking lots with other cultural institutions who often hold events at the same time as our performances. There are several parking garages within walking distance of the B.U. Theatre:

Gainsborough Garage: 10 Gainsborough Street (corner of Gainsborough St. and St. Boltolph St.). $19 event parking rate. Please note: this garage often fills up early and does not validate. 617 266-7260.

Greenhouse Parking Garage: 150 Huntington Avenue. $12 evening parking rate available after 5pm Monday-Friday. $15 weekend parking rate available Saturday and Sunday ($15 rate is not valid if car is left in garage for more than 12 hours). 617 247-0588.

Midtown Hotel: 220 Huntington Avenue. Special $15 parking rate (patrons must exit garage by 11pm). Just show your ticket stub at the hotel's front desk for validation before you exit the garage. 617 262-1000. midtownhotel.com.

Pilgrim Parking Hynes Auditorium Garage: 50 Dalton Street, just off Boylston Street, across from the Sheraton Hotel and next door to Jasper White's Summer Shack restaurant. Special $11 parking rate after 4pm. Validation needed, and is available at the main lobby concessions stand at the B.U. Theatre. 617 247-8006. pilgrimparking.com.

Prudential Center Garage: Special $16 parking rate available after 2pm Monday-Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. You'll need to surrender your ticket stub when exiting garage to claim this discount. 617 236-3060. prudentialcenter.com.

Symphony Garage: 41 Westland Avenue. Special $15 event parking rate with ticket stub ($3 discount off $18 event rate). 617 236-0898. symphonygarage.com.

Westland Avenue Garage: 35 Westland Avenue (next to the Whole Foods Market). Special $9 parking rate. You'll need to surrender your ticket stub when exiting garage to claim this discount. 617 437-1577. westlandavenuegarage.com.

Street Parking

Street parking is very limited but metered parking spots are available on Huntington Avenue, Massachusetts Avenue, and various streets in the surrounding area.

Public Transportation

T:
Orange Line to Back Bay station. Exit onto Clarendon Street. Turn right. Go four blocks on Clarendon Street, then make a left onto Tremont Street. The Calderwood Pavilion is on your left just past the Cyclorama.

Green Line to Copley Square station. Exit onto Boylston Street and walk with traffic (Boylston is one-way). Take a right onto Clarendon Street and walk seven blocks, then make a left onto Tremont Street. The Calderwood Pavilion is on your left just past the Cyclorama.

Bus:
No. 43 which travels along Tremont Street between Park Street Station on the Green Line and Dudley Square in Roxbury.

Driving Directions

From the North: Take I-93 South into Boston, exit onto Storrow Drive. Take the Copley Square exit on your left. At the light make a left onto Beacon Street and a quick right, following the path of all traffic, onto Arlington Street. Follow Arlington for approximately one-half (1/2) mile, crossing over the highway into the South End. Turn right onto Tremont Street at the light in front of the CVS. The Calderwood Pavilion is on your right at 527 Tremont Street.

From the South: Take I-93 to the Mass. Ave. exit. Turn right onto Mass. Ave. north. Turn right at the fifth light onto Tremont Street. The Calderwood Pavilion is located on the left at 527 Tremont Street.

From the West: Take I-90 into Boston. Get off the highway at the Copley Square/Prudential exit. Follow signs for Copley. Stay straight to go onto Stuart Street. Go two blocks then turn right onto Arlington Street at the light. Go over the highway. At the light in front of the CVS, turn right onto Tremont Street. The Calderwood Pavilion is on your right at 527 Tremont Street.

Garage Parking

There are several parking garages within walking distance of the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA:

Atelier 505 Garage: 505 Tremont Street (entrance to the garage is located on Warren Avenue, at the rear of the facility). Monday-Saturday: $18 for 2-10 hours. Sunday: $13 all day. Please note: this garage often fills up early and does not validate. 617 262-8426. pilgrimparking.com.

Dartmouth Street Garage: 126 Dartmouth Street. $10 evening parking rate available after 5pm Monday-Friday. Please note: at all other times parking rate is $9 per hour. 617 266-9046.

Garage @ 100 Clarendon: 100 Clarendon Street. 617 275-0151. 100clarendon.com.

  • Special $7 parking rate available after 5pm Monday-Friday with validation.
  • Special $17 parking rate available all day Saturday and Sunday with validation.
  • $9 parking rate available after 5pm Saturday. This is a regular rate and no validation is needed.
  • Special $17 parking rate available 12:30pm-6:30pm on Wednesdays with validation.
  • Validation is available before the show at the Calderwood Pavilion Box Office. (If you forget to validate your ticket pre-show, please contact a Front of House staff member for assistance.)

Open lots on Berkeley Street: There are two open parking lots on Berkeley Street at Columbus Avenue, across from the Salvation Army. Open until 10pm.

Valet Parking

Pre-paid valet parking services from Exclusive Valet are available for all evening performances (starting at 6pm) at the Calderwood Pavilion for just $15. The valet stand is located directly in front of the entrance to the Cyclorama at the BCA. Pre-paid valet vouchers are not required to park your car via the valet service, but are encouraged. Call the Box Office at 617 266-0800 today to purchase a valet parking voucher.

Many local restaurants also offer valet parking and will keep your car while you enjoy both a meal and a show.


Street Parking

Street parking is very limited but some patrons have had great luck finding coveted parking spots on Tremont Street.
