Christine Toy Johnson* (Setsuko Hearn) last appeared with the Huntington in Sisters Matsumoto. Her Broadway, Off Broadway, and national tour highlights include The Music Man, Falsettoland, Flower Drum Song, Merrily We Roll Along, Pacific Overtures, and Genesis (The Public Theater/NYSF). Regionally, she has played leading roles at such theatres as the Berkshire Theatre Festival, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Missouri Repertory Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Denver Center Theatre Company, The Minnesota Opera, California Musical Theatre, and Hangar Theatre. Her film and television credits include writing, producing, and starring in the short film All American Eyes, Conspiracy Theory, Jungle 2 Jungle, L.I.E., the role of Lisa West on “One Life to Live” (2000 and 2001 aMedia Award nominations), “Crossing Jordan,” “Grounded for Life,” “Nunsense” and “Nunsense 2” (PBS and A&E), “Law & Order: SVU,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” and “Oz.” Ms. Johnson is currently in development with her original screenplay, Inner Fabulosity.
