V Craig Heidenreich* (Darius Wheeler) has directed or appeared in more than 150 professional productions over the past 30 years, including three seasons with the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, two seasons with the Asolo Theatre in Florida, ten seasons with Actors Theatre of Louisville, and three years as artistic director of the Complete Theatre Alliance in California. Representative roles include Macbeth, Hamlet, Richard III, Iago, Jacques, Petruchio, Bottom, Malvolio, and Caliban. He has also appeared in more than two dozen world premieres largely with the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Most recently, he directed and/or performed in productions of Betrayal, Don Juan in Hell, The Lion in Winter, Sea Marks, Hedda Gabler, and Rough Crossing. Mr. Heidenreich has appeared on “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU,” the feature film Tully, and many commercials and voice-overs. Three years ago, he and his wife, actress Tess Hogan, conceived and founded Infinite Space, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida, a theatre company dedicated to collaboration and the performance of works of large literary merit for small venues.
