
David Lindsay-Abaire's (Playwright) Rabbit Hole premiered on Broadway last season at Manhattan Theatre Club's Biltmore Theatre, and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Play. His other plays include Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, Wonder of the World, and A Devil Inside, among others. He is also the book-writer for the musical High Fidelity, which recently premiered at Boston's Colonial Theatre and is scheduled to open on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre this month. He is also currently writing the book and lyrics for the Broadway-bound musical Shrek. In addition to his work in theatre, Mr. Lindsay-Abaire wrote the screenplay for the upcoming Newline feature film Inkheart, and is currently at work on screen adaptations of his plays Kimberly Akimbo for Dreamworks, and Rabbit Hole for 20th Century Fox. He is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and The Juilliard School, as well as a proud member of New Dramatists, the Dramatists Guild, and the Writers Guild of America.
