
Rui Rita (Lighting Designer) previously designed The Blue Demon and Heartbreak House for the Huntington. His Broadway credits include Enchanted April, The Price, and A Thousand Clowns. Off Broadway designs include the premieres of Moonlight and Magnolias (Manhattan Theatre Club); Big Bill, The Carpetbagger's Children, Far East, and Ancestral Voices (Lincoln Center Theater); Engaged (Theatre For a New Audience); Endpapers (Variety Arts); Crimes of the Heart (Second Stage); Dinner With Friends (New York/National Tour); The Day Emily Married (Primary Stages); Anthony & Cleopatra (The Public Theater/NYSF), and Vita & Virginia (Union Square). His regional work includes productions at Alley Theatre, American Conservatory Theater, Centerstage, The Goodman Theatre, Hartford Stage, Kennedy Center, Long Wharf Theatre, Ford's Theatre, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Mr. Rita is an alumnus of the Boston University School for the Arts.
