About the Company

Mimi Lieber

Mimi Lieber (Pfeni Rosensweig) was last seen on Broadway in Donald Margulies’ Brooklyn Boy and the revival of Herb Gardner’s I’m Not Rappaport (both directed by Daniel Sullivan). Her other theatre credits include the regional productions of We Won’t Pay, We Won’t Pay (Long Wharf Theatre); Leon, Lena, and Lenz (Guthrie Theater); Brooklyn Boy (South Coast Repertory); I’m Not Rappaport (Ford’s Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, and Coconut Grove Playhouse); Figaro Gets a Divorce (La Jolla Playhouse), the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival (with Ensemble Studio Theater, Grand Jury Prize), and the national tour of Wendy Wasserstein’s The Heidi Chronicles. A 20-year member of Odyssey Theater Ensemble in Los Angeles, Ms. Lieber appeared in many productions, including Taking Sides, The Greeks, Love Council, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Offending the Audience, Lullabye and Goodnight, and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. Other L.A. credits include Help (Coast Playhouse); Potestad (Stages Theatre Center); and Othello and Much Ado About Nothing (L.A. Shakespeare Company). Her numerous films include the just released The Thing About My Folks; Just Another Story; Bulworth; Corrina, Corrina; Wilder Napalm; Ghost in the Machine; and Last Resort. On television, she has prosecuted, defended, performed brain surgery, whored, and warred on over fifty shows including “Law & Order,” “Judging Amy,” “Friends,” “ER,” “NYPD Blue,” “Seinfeld,” “The X-Files,” and “The Practice.”
