
Mark Stanley (Lighting Designer) is the lighting director for the New York City Ballet where he has designed over 150 premieres with 40 different choreographers. His designs can be seen in the repertories of ballet companies across Europe and the USA. Mr. Stanley previously served as resident lighting designer for the New York City Opera resident and touring companies. His designs have appeared Off Broadway and at numerous regional companies, including The Kennedy Center, Long Wharf Theatre, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and the Goodspeed Opera House, and have been seen nationally on PBS’ “Live from Lincoln Center” and “Great Performances.” Mr. Stanley is an associate professor of lighting at Boston University and is on the board of directors for the Gilbert Hemsley Lighting Internship.
