
Bruce McKenzie* (Daniel) has Off Broadway credits that include Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire and True Love (New York Theatre Workshop); Marlowe’s Eye (Theatre at St. Clement’s for the Tectonic Theater Project); and Big Love (BAM Next Wave Festival). His regional credits include Big Love (The Goodman Theatre); Skin and Krapp’s Last Tape (Dallas Theater Center); Homebody/Kabul and Fetes de la Nuit (Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Hamlet (title role), Othello, Noises Off, Polaroid Stories, At the Vanishing Point, and Aloha Say the Pretty Girls (Actors Theatre of Louisville); Wintertime, The Tempest, Paris Commune, and Current Nobody (La Jolla Playhouse); Measure for Measure and Othello (California Shakespeare Theater); and Heathen Valley, Loot, and Cymbeline (San Diego Repertory Theatre). Mr. McKenzie is a founding member of Sledgehammer Theatre where he appeared in Pre-Paradise Sorry Now, War To End War, Terminal Hip, Endgame, Drums in the Night, and 7 Blowjobs, among others. He has been a company member of Actors Theatre of Louisville, Sundance Theatre Lab, Midwest PlayLabs, and the Ojai Playwrights Conference. Mr. McKenzie’s band Maquiladora will tour Spain and Japan this spring and summer before beginning work on their seventh record in the fall.
