About the Company

Catherine Stornetta (Musical Director/Pianist) has been the musical director for Forbidden Broadway, Forbidden Hollywood, and Forbidden Christmas in Japan, Singapore, Kansas City, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Detroit, San Diego, Cleveland, at home in Boston, and on cruise ships circumnavigating the globe. In addition, she has orchestrated Forbidden Broadway for symphony orchestra and conducted the Hartford Symphony, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival Orchestra, and in May of 2007, will conduct the Detroit Symphony. Ms. Stornetta composed the score for the Cable ACE award-winning documentary on Christa McAuliffe, Teacher in Space, produced for the Arts and Entertainment Network Biography series. She has also written and produced two cabarets: Intriguing People for People Magazine and 12 Angry Reindeer. With Melia Bensussen she wrote the musical version of All of a Kind Family which was performed at the Majestic Theatre in Boston in 2004. Ms. Stornetta is currently a full time faculty member at Boston Conservatory and the musical director for the Boston production of Menopause The Musical. In her salad days, she was an occasional soloist with the Boston Pops.
