Janet Dickinson has toured extensively with Forbidden Broadway over the past several years. Her credits include the Off Broadway production of Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know, as well as performances at Florida Studio Theatre, The New Embassy Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, City Theatre (Pittsburgh), Cumberland Theatre, Struther's Library Theatre, Center Rep (San Francisco), and The Human Race Theatre Company (Dayton, Ohio). Her favorite roles (besides Julie Andrews and Carol Channing) include Mayzie La Bird in Seussical: The Musical, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Rita in Lucky Stiff, Amnesia in Nunsense, Suzie in Wait Until Dark, Miss Havisham in Great Expectations, Poopay in Communicating Doors, and Yvonne in A Flea in Her Ear. Ms. Dickinson has been a company member with The Mountain Playhouse in Pennsylvania for several seasons where she has performed in over 100 productions. She has also been nominated for a “Shellie Award” in California and a “Handy Award” in Florida.
