One of the most extensive and admired programs in the country, the Huntington’s Education Department serves more than 10,000 students, teachers, and community organizations each year with student matinees, state-wide poetry and August Wilson monologue competitions, and an original touring production, Know The Law, focusing on rights and responsibilities under Massachusetts law.
The purpose of the Huntington Theatre Company’s Department of Education and Community Programs is to foster and support a direct and passionate engagement for youth, educators, artists, and the broader community in all aspects of the theatre experience.
