His Boston credits include The Oil Thief, King of the Jews, and A Girl’s War (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre); Claudius in Hamlet, Prospero in The Tempest, and Brutus in Julius Caesar (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company); The Dying Gaul (SpeakEasy Stage Company); The Wrestling Patient (SpeakEasy with BPT); To Kill a Mockingbird (Wheelock Family Theatre); and Exits and Entrances, The Clean House, and The Ice-Breaker (New Repertory Theatre). Mr. Lyman has narrated with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center, The Cleveland Orchestra, and Handel & Haydn Society. Television credits include “Commander-in-Chief,” “Threat Matrix,” “Hull High,” and William Tell in “Crossbow.” Movies for television include Meltdown, Our Fathers, Three Sovereigns for Sarah, and George Washington. He is a graduate of Boston University and a recipient of the Elliot Norton Award.
