Victor J. Wisehart

Victor J. Wisehart appeared in the West End production of West Side Story as Diesel/Riff u/s (Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London). Internationally, he performed in the 50th anniversary world tour of West Side Story as Diesel/Riff u/s (Dir. Joey McKneely). His regional credits include Dream Curly and assistant choreographer for Oklahoma! (The Muny), Pete in Crazy for You, Carnival Boy/Boatswain in Carousel, Indian of the Dawn/Wrangler in Will Rogers Follies a Life in Revue, Speed Tapist in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Salt Shaker in Beauty and the Beast, and Thief in 42nd Street. With The Boston Conservatory Dance Theater he danced masterworks by such choreographers as Jose Limón, Paul Taylor, Murray Louis, August Bourniville, and Luis Fuente. He went on to dance principal roles with the New York Theatre Ballet. Boston Conservatory Opera credits include High Priest Aye in the Phillip Glass opera Akhenaton, as well as the role of Frach in Die Fleidermaus. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.F.A. in dance from The Boston Conservatory in 2006.
