McKinley Belcher III previously appeared in Smart People and Invisible Man at the Huntington. He has appeared Off Broadway in Romeo & Juliet (Classic Stage Company) and regionally in Trouble in Mind (Two River Theater Company), Twelfth Night (Hartford Stage), As You Like It (The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles), the world premiere adaptation of Macbeth 1969 (Long Wharf Theatre), To Kill a Mockingbird (Bay Street Theatre), Medal of Honor Rag (Shadowland Theatre), The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, and All’s Well That Ends Well (Kingsmen Shakespeare Company), Victor Woo (Village Theatre Company/New York International Fringe Festival), and The Wiz (True Colors Theatre Company), among others. Mr. Belcher’s film and television credits include Ricky, John Sayles’ most recent independent feature film Go for Sisters, Tina Fey’s upcoming NBC comedy “Tooken,” STARZ’s upcoming series “Power,” “Louie,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and “Law & Order: LA.” Mr. Belcher has an MFA in acting from the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts where he was the recipient of the Ava Greenwald Memorial Award. He also has a BA in communication studies/political science from Belmont University.
