Maureen Anderman previously appeared in the Huntington’s productions of Becky Shaw, Third, Rabbit Hole, and The Sisters Rosensweig. Since last appearing at the Huntington she has been seen on Broadway in Driving Miss Daisy and regionally in Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance (Berkshire Theatre Group and Palm Beach Dramaworks), Doubt (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), The Year of Magical Thinking (Westport Country Playhouse), and she toured the world and performed at The Old Vic in London with Kevin Spacey in Richard III (Bridge Project, dir. Sam Mendes). This past summer she played Mrs. Higgins in Pygmalion (Williamstown Theatre Festival, dir. Nicholas Martin). Ms. Anderman’s association with A.R. Gurney began with the Off Broadway productions of Later Life (Playwrights Horizons) and Ancestral Voices (Lincoln Center Theater). She has been honored with a Tony, IRNE, and two Drama Desk Award nominations, Theatre World and Connecticut Critics Circle Awards, and the Westport Arts Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in the theatre.
